Part-time Marketing Assistant (self-employed role)

  • Applicants must be flexible and work will generally be carried in the evenings during the week (i.e. after 6pm) and some weekends 

Role will include:

  • Excellent communication skills is a must, as the candidate will be required to attend functions, meetings and networking events with the Head of Chambers
  • Assisting the Head of Chambers with the implementation of Chambers’ marketing plan
  • Assisting the Head of Chambers with Chambers’ marketing activities at events, functions and seminars etc
  • Experience and knowledge of PowerPoint, Microsoft Word and Excel etc
  • Maintaining confidentiality
  • Experience of maintaining effective internal working relationships
  • Will include prioritising and organising work to achieve objectives and tasks on time
  • Working collaboratively in a team where required by the Head of Chambers
  • Assist with a range of administrative duties as directed by the Head of Chamber
  • Using initiative and/or creativity to resolve problems

Part-time Paralegal (self-employed/flexible role)

Chambers is currently seeking an extremely hard working and committed paralegal.

The role will involve a wide spectrum of paralegal duties under supervision with a particular focus on legal research as well as assisting with marketing and administrative tasks. A keen interest in construction, chancery and commercial law will be an advantage. This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

Typical duties under supervision might include:

  • Carrying out legal research;
  • Note taking and taking minutes;
  • Preparing bundles;
  • Document management and production;
  • Filing of documents, correspondence and other documentation;
  • Scheduling and compiling documents;
  • Photocopying and scanning; and
  • Administrative/marketing tasks.
